A Short Guide to Cowbridge & The Vale of Glamorgan

Cowbridge is very conveniently located near the A48 main road, so you're only a quick car journey away from the centre of Cardiff, the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan coast line or well placed to travel further west to visit Swansea or the Gower Peninsular. Our favourite beaches include Southerndown, Ogmore by sea, Merthyr Mawr (with their famous sand dunes) and Porthcawl. There are three golf courses close to Cowbridge.

A trip to Duffryn Gardens is a must! - a National Trust House with extensive and very famous formal gardens. Cowbridge physic garden is a delight, just inside the old town walls.

The City of Cardiff, being only 20 minutes away, holds innumerable attractions; shopping centres, dozens of restaurants, theatres, cinemas, exhibitions, stadiums, Cardiff Castle, The Millennium Concert and Opera House, Marinas and Cardiff Bay ... the list goes on!
